Abstract : In this seminar, results form the research group REDES (University Carlos III de Madrid) on wind energy integration in electricity markets are presented. This research projects aims to : evaluate the economic possibility of wind energy inetgration in electricity markets, elaborate the different strategies of wind energy offers on the market-explore the combining participation possibilities between hydro plants and wind farms; This research was based upon the forecasting software SIPREOLICO. A brief description of this software is included in the presentation.
